Rabun County is the home of one of the most Republican leaning counties in the nation. Every elected official from School Board to Governor and all legislative seats are held by conservative Republicans. Locally, we are incredibly active with monthly meetings, an outreach team, tons of events, and we always welcome citizens to get involved with the many fun events we are always hosting.
In 2020, the 9th Congressional District Republican Party recognized our county with the Outstanding County Party Award and we are recognized by the Georgia GOP as the top county in the state for Five Star Award excellence for our classification of counties.
